Should I buy these games?
Hey all, I don't own UMK3, MKT, MK4, MKG, MKM and MKSF (though I know I should stay clear field of that one) But what about the other games.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy: Which version should I get if you think I should, the N64 version or the PS1 version?

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: I think that if I do get this, I should probably get the PS1 version from the sound of it.

Mortal Kombat Gold: Well since this is only for one systen, yes or no?

I have all the games and MKTrilogy and Gold are some of the best in the series.

if you're gonna get trilogy, then I suggest getting the PSX version. It has more characters, (MK1 versions of kano and raiden, MK2 versions of jax and kano if you press select on their icons), better sound, much more replay value there. (my disc is all scratched up though, I should get a new one)

MK Gold: well, if you liked mk4 you'll love this one too. This is 1 of the best games IMO in the MK series. fast paced action and some of the best fatalities ever than in any game. down side is the camera sometimes pans out when doing a fatality. Other than that, it's an enjoyable game to kill an hour or 2.

I think MKT for PSX is a wise choice. It is infinitely better then the N64 version, and overall a fantastic MK game to play with friends. It reproduces UMK3 gameplay very well and is fantastic fun and practice.

MKM:SZ I played on PSX. I found it interesting. Not something I'd play again because it was a bit too easy but I enjoyed it for the storyline and mindless side scrolling fun of it all.

MKG I greatly disliked. MK4 for the arcade had a better look to it (the characters weren't all so plasticy looking). MK4 and MKG both sucked as far as gameplay though. Its very shallow and generic. I personally would stay clear of both. Trilogy is all you'd need unless you can get UMK3 for the arcade since that is the Pinnacle of MK gameplay thus far.
