Anyone who has a US PSP with firmware 1.5., there is a hack that enables homebrew emus, apps etc. to be run from a memory stick. If you want to play classic MK games such as MK1, 2, 3, or Ultimate. this is a way to go. It is an alternate option for MK classic games before the MAT 2 comes out. For more info on emus, check out www.psphacker.com

Its really nice that they have the emus for 1.5 firmware now. They've had emus for the PSP since like a week after (or maybe before) its official release, but only for firmware 1.0, and then you had to mangle your fingers swapping out memory cards like crazy.
I just want to know if they are going to find some way of using the wireless capabilities to give Emus the ability to link up for multiplayer. Because that could be the coolest thing ever. I kinda doubt it though. It took them forever to get stuff really going on the PS2, and the PSP is a modified version of that with the wireless stuff added on. I don't think there was ever any use of the network adapter for the PS2 and that was probably an easier dealy to program for...

The SNES emulator is still a bit slow though. I really need to get a PSP myself but I have heard that the new ones are now firmware 1.51 and 1.52 now. I hope they crack those firmwares so when I do get a PSP I could play GTA: Liberty City Stories and have homebrew. Having homebrew on the go would be a lot better than having a GTA game on the go.
I hope that they also find a way to connect the PSP to an external harddrive and transfer files in and out of the memory stick on the go also.
