Actually it must have been MKT. There are codes in MKT that allow you to play as Motaro or Shao Kahn for one round with the kode depending on your system but the kode has serious side effects like after using the kode you never advance and you have to be in a certain arena.

I think he is talking about UMK3+, the hacked version of UMK3 with the bosses playable as well as characters from MK2. I have not seen anything like that for the SNES version.

There are all the things i could find about the snes console version.And yes in the snes console verison you can play as shao kahn and motaro but i believe its only in 2 player mode.

Yeah I forgot about that. You just have to enable them from the hidden menus in the SNES version right?

And the best bet is just go with Trilogy since you have all the 2D bosses except MK1 Shang playable, albeit broken as well.

Well I know most of these codes don't work for the SNES version as I tried them many times when the game came out. None of the kombat zone codes work, as there's only the new UMK3 stages in there plus two of the originals. I guess I'll just stick to arcade.
