some deceptive fighting styles in MKDA...

Here is a list of fighting styles that were pretty dissapointing in MKDA... those styles were a little bit rush I think and I hope they will not make the same mistakes again for MKD.
1- Kenshi and Scorpion having the exact same moves with the sword
2- the ninjistu style of Cyrax, it was almost the same thing as his sambo style and it was not even right. Ninjas are supposed to use flip and rolls and Cyrax was not even doing that.
3- Raiden jiujistu style, not original at all, pretty boring and actually jiujistu is consisting of throws and luxation, something that this style didn't offered.
any other dissapointing fighting styles? which were your favorite styles? got to admit that drunken fist was a cool style :)

any thoughts about fighting styles in MKDA?

About Me
There are three rules for doing scientific research. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

Sun-moon and butterfly knives also had the same moves. The sai was weak and just a toned down version of the daggers.
Let's see... judo came across as very unauthentic (with kicks and punches!) and so did aikido. Also wrestling should have had more moves and imho it's weird that they gave one of the few Western fighting styles to a Chinese guy.
Leopard and fu jow pai were also similar to a great degree.
I liked the way broadsword was done, but the name of the weapon shouldn't have been broadsword :). Jeet kune do could have been much better and much cooler. Sambo and san shou are usually more powerful.
Yeah, in short, some styles were messed up big time. Others were fairly interesting, like crab or dragon...

Wing Chun; in reality this is a very powerful style, but in the game it's just pathetic.
Also, as RasAlGuhl said, Jujutsu should have had more throws, locks, and submissions. I've also read that Hapkido has many such moves, which weren't used by Scorpion.

About Me
To anyone who cares, I'm not banned. I left of my own accord. This place is dead to me now.

LONGFIST! It sucks beyond description!
I hated Subs Shotokan purely based on looks. Sub looks too stiff and awkward when standing upright, sticking his chest out, and puting most of his weight on his front leg. Very silly indeed. It's amazing that they allowed one of the series most popular characters to look so strange in one of his fighting styles- when Scorpion for example- looked so damn tight in both of his. I would much prefer him to have a fast and low fighting style (at least more athletic looking then Shotokan) which would compiment his Dragon form nicely.
