Mortal Kombat has a great way expressing a ninja like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, old school Reptile, Ermac, Rain and old Smoke, Reptile needs to remain a ninja.

I know he is a putrid beast under his face mask but they keep changing him from MK4 to MKDA I hope the creators realize that MK fans like to keep characters original, atleast thats the way I like it, What is your guys feed back on this?tongue

I would like to see original charactors. That is to say ones that are not just a different color. It was ok at first but I'm glad they are giveing all the ninjas their own style.

Oh no! Those were the very reasons I've thrown away MK after trilogy.

Reptile is no ninja, he only looked like one, I am so glad that they really leaving the annoying everyone is masked concept. It was good in the good old times like MK1-2 but seriously, it got extremely boring after that. At least for me.

I hope they make them look not even similar to each other, while making them resembling their origin. reptile can have the ninja kimono or whate-ver, but not any more of that human structure for his body.

Same applies for loosers like Rain. Ermac was good as a makeover, and finally they gave him something exceptional. Good. Now don't ruin it with bringing every old ninja BACK with revamped looks.

The problem with 3-d now is the characters are way to big they all look like there on roids.I know mk is about fantasy but come on now its way to exaggerated.

i agree keep original characters pretty much similar in looks as there old school games. maybe a few tweaks to there look, but for the most part i want it the same.

----------

on a side note i agree with the above guy's comment... the characters are way to big on the screen now... and there overly strong looking ... but i guess every game has to evolve sometime ;) ... ill be thankfull MK is still a pretty solid fighting game and it aint evolved into button mashing like tekken type games are.

no, don't go old school. maybe have every character get their original as a secret costume or something, but otherwise no. I agree that some characters looked better in the original look (like Kano. that glowing strap thing is sooooo gay. bring back the bullet belt!), but with so many ninja characters it would be masked pandemonium! Ermac is cool as is (though he did look kool with UMK3's darker skin tone). Rain should stay away from the whole ninja thing in general. imagine him with long black hair, a spear, and Edenian knight armor

yes the MK characters had definitely a better looking in the first mk games (especially mk1 and mk2)...I was never really happy with the "kitch-looking" characters in mk3 such as shang tsung or sheeva ... I think Reptile had a better looking in Mk2 than in MkDA (but the worst reptile I have ever seen is the one in MK4)

now , with the power of consoles like the game cube , I don't understand why they don't go back to the " filming and digitalizing " method, cause it's definitely that and the violence/gore side that gave MK a very high success....moreover we could have now it in 3D..so we could have a mk game with "real looking characters" and they would move entirely in 3D...pretty sure it would blow all away ...
(of course I hope they would take real experts in martial arts for capturing the moves, cause when we see sindel doing his roundhouse kick, it's pretty ridiculous....)
