I pick Stryker. He's pretty good In MK3 and MKT. He just needs more respectable clothing and look less crazy in the head. Maybe he will come back in MK7

Stryker's the man, he was one of the best players in MK3-MKT. I was really surprised when I joined the forums and saw so much hate towards him. I think the main reasons are;

-too plain;
-no special powers;
-not the best story ever conceived (just a riot cop).

Stryker is definitely underated. I think hes better then Rain,Noob,Ermac those 3 are highley overated with god awful fatalitys.

He has great moves and combos, but he looks really dumb. I use his pop-up combo and gun, then dash, 2 HPs, gun, repeat combo. I saw this combo in the SP videos. I was amazed the first time I saw it.

im thrilled he has this much support. he's got awsome combos but my favorite is jump kick into dash throw

Terrible story, terrible attire, and a mid-tier (or was it low?) character in UMK3. Stryker doesn't deserve to come back to MK.

Stryker has a REALLY poor story, and his look is ridiculous. I'd sure like to see him back, but with a better influence in history and a totally revitalized clothing. His special moves were ok, but his fatalities... oh, how crap.

Stryker is the fuckin' man.

Stryker is awesome, really fun, expansive juggles, great move set, special collision boxes, he is ranked high mid tier in my opinion, but definitely falls into the middle tier, Noob, Rain, and Ermac may be overrated, but they are still better than Stryker playability wise, Stryker would be very close to Rain since they both have infs that can be started via auto combo, but Rain is more broken.

Stryker was an excellent character, he had the moves and combos but i felt he had no place in the mortal kombat universe and he's story sucked big time, i think he was just someones dream character coming alive

Speaking of "dream character", did you know that he was originally going to be in MK1, but they decided to replace him with a female fighter (Sonya)? And Kurtis Stryker was the initial name for Jax in MK2? I guess they really wanted someone with that name in the game.

Yay, more Stryker fans! I'm not on my own, Stryker and Kabal were the best of MK3's newcomers. Him being a survivor cop who fought using weapons rather than magic fireballs or whatever was original, and suited the Earth invasion storyline very well (far better than the cyborgs, imo).

I'd love to see Stryker back in MKD. Yeah, his look was a bit stupid (but quite a few other characters looked dumb in MK3/MKT). This can easily be improved, just give him a SWAT uniform and body armour. He was actually a really useful fighter, and quite a few of more advanced players ranked him quite highly.

They gave Nightwolf (nearly as despised, and just as dumb looking in MK3/MKT) another chance and a cool new makeover. I think Stryker deserves to be given a comeback as well.

who in the hell cares about story, and the last man standing always look the best.

He is look like a dumb but he is very good fighter b/c his fighting style very different

Hey this reminds me of a question I had:

Does Stryker's infinite work in MKT? Maybe I just kept messing it up, but it felt like the gun was disabled after one use when I tried the combo in MKT. But in UMK3 arcade I was able to repeat it. Did they actually limit it in MKT or did I just mess up every time (which is entirely possible)?

All of Stryker's infinites are possible in MKT for PSX, either version.

Kind of a cool concept. IMO . earth guy caught in the middle. I think he was a "made to die" charactor though. Thus, I doubt he'll return but is anyone ever really dead and gone in the MK universe.
