I like Stryker, obviously.

There are a lot of stryker fans here. I have found that if people really play MK3 or UMK3 they will like Stryker just because he is a really good character to use. A lot of the people that say they hate him are talking about his storyline, his character's look, or they just never really played the game.

In story terms I don't care for stryker too much but playing as him in UMK 3 is great. He has some pretty good moves and cool combos.

Im glad they brought a human in it hes fun to play and has some good moves.If they ever make another 2-d game he should comes back with a new gun like a desert eagle or something.By the way what kind of gun does he have it looks wierd if you see it close up it almost looks like a silver squirt gun theres bumps in it or something.

Stryker is a dominating character (in the right hands) against most casual players.

He's one of my favorite characters. Real fun to play as.

Hes better then any new character from mk4 and up.

I think Stryker's one of the best characters in MK. He was very strong to play as in MK3/UMK3/MKT. I also think his storyline was perfect for the "Kahn invades Earth" plot at that time. Stryker was just an ordinary riot cop, no magic ninja powers or whatever, no previous knowledge of MK, who gets caught up in the invasion and is forced to take a stand against it. A lot of Stryker haters say he didn't fit MK, but he fit far better than the cyborgs imo, and was far more convincing as one of the Earthrealm heroes.

OK, I admit, his outfit did suck, it should have looked more like an actual SWAT uniform. But let's be honest, lots of characters look kinda silly in those games, and he's not the worst. Shang Tsung as a white man in yellow tights and crap wig? Nightwolf the Spandex Indian (looking more like an 80's wrestler/gay disco freak)?

hey leave nightwolf and the cyborgs out of this they rocked anyway i never really heard much bout strykers story but i never really had an opinion on him either and about the question wot gun he has it looks like a luger to me but im blind so it would probally but something like berretta 9mm cuz that just a standard gun used by police...anyways yea i did think he was pretty cool and stuff but i just never heard anything about him

i named my dog Stryker back in 1996 (black lab, still got em) back when i first became an MK fan. not because he was my favorite character its just a cool name and fitting for a dog. but i think the reason alot of ppl dont like him, his sprites look like they just got some guy from their studio and strapped a holster on him and started taking pictures. i personally like his storyline. riot squad during the invasion then alone in a giant city. pretty weird

So far everyone in this thread likes strker including me! He imo will be in MK7 i hope. If he is in it his story will obviously change and what if a twist was added to it and he alligned to the bad side or went neutral.
