thers no way to prove who is the best. unless mk5.org (or possibly midway) would host a nation wide tournament..i gues kind of like the mk4 road tour. that would be cool. but, it probably wont happen. it would be nice though.

like, have set dates in a few sates. and the champion of that "area" goes on the road to the next stop to defend the tital and so on. (all expenses paid,not everyone can afford to go state to state)

i agree. coming to a messageboard challenging people is stupid. when you know full well, no ones gonna travle to where ever just to play a game. and when people do answer the challenge, they usally dont show up, or just make some excuse. people that say they are the best arent.
its easy to talk smack on a message board.

It would also be impossible to decide who is the best char by having CPU VS CPU on hard mode, because the CPU uses mostly physical attacks which bums out the characters that should be mainly using special attacks.

Still, I think if you come up with some kindof a rating system using the cpu as a baseline. Midway could actually set up a sort of rating system, that could be used for bragging rights.

MKL is the best, but there or tons of other good players here who just dont have nearly as much experience such as konqrr,1storiginator and myself.
