He goes in search for Cyrax and Nitara.

He finds the egg.

The egg brakes with a powerfull beam hitting Reptile.

So that leads as to:

a) Reptile BECOMES the Dragon King. The D.K gets in his soul.
b) Reptile EVOLVES and the Dragon King comes back NOT as Retile.

But option A was confirmed.
