I would like to know, I have done this trick a few time, but I can never precisely remember how I did it.
In the arcade version of MK2, how exactly do we do the trick against the computer, when we advance in the computer direction and the computer will go backward until he reach the wall? then we go backward we jump on him and he will throw a projectile? What do we need to do to make the computer walk backward?
I used to watch a good friend of mine do that all the time. I cant remember exactly how it went but i think he kept his distance, when the CPU threw a projectile you had to jump toward him and land a certain distance from him. Then if you did it right, the CPU was basically your slave, you could push it into a corner for a easy devastating combo.
interesting lateralus, to what I've heard there is more then one way to do the trick and it doesn't always work, also apparently it doesn't work against every character, do anybody know more about it?
I hate to bump one of my old threads but do anybody know how we do this trick against the computer? it would be appreciated if someone who knows a lot about MK2 would take the time to answer me ok I have edited my message, I have found out how to do it, we need to walk backward(we need to be on the player 2 side and the computer must be tough) and then the opponent will walk in our direction and when he is at a certain distance, like at 3 sweep distance from us we jump in his direction without the kick and we go straight forward
