Here is the scoop on the Final secret for all you dumbass' who cant get over it.

If everyone can recall the game was pretty much ripped apart and completely solved after the first week it was released in North America(remember it was still not released Over Seas).

SO imaging this from the MK teams perspective.

The Game is released:
Day 1 - Game being sold across North America Only. All krypts have already been unlocked and posted on the internet. All FATALIES have been figured out and posted on the net.

Week 1 - Everything has been unlocked including all extra arenas, charatacters, and costumes. Game still has not been released Over Seas.

So at this time MK fans enjoy the game in NA yet are still hungry for more charaters, secrets, and fatalities...which dont exist. Meanwhile the unfortunate people over seas have not even smelt the plastic on this inside of the MK5 casing.

Now Boon being the intellegent person that he is tells everyone that "there is at least one more secret". Why? So people in NA would still be intereted in the game(which worked) and so people who haven't bought it yet would still want to buy the game = Money in BOON's pocket/BOON is a lying bastard.

Get it NOW?

Boon earned his money? MK5 has been the worst MK released for gameplay. Im sure 90% of MK masters (people who have played MK1-5) agree that MK5 is the worst for playability.

Do you think the new additions in the GBA version of MK:TE could have secrets that are locked up in the consoles? They are getting loads of cool stuff. Now they're getting weapon fatalities!

Actually, I have been pretty good with MK from MK1 to now and I think-uh I know that MK5 is the best according to gameplay. More complex character moves, more fighting styles, wider selection of gameplay alltogether- not your typical little secrets MK addition. But I do agree with you that there is NO final secret, and I do agree with you that It was a lie just to make people buy the game.

Damn, take your ass out of this forum. MKDA the worst for gameplay?! Maybe it doesn't have countless, cheap fatalities, or palette swap secret characters, but it has gameplay. You can't honestly say you'd rather EVERY character to do the exact same moves, (HP, LK....etc) than to have 3 styles per character. I have played EVERY MK game, and I don't agree with you as you said I would. This is the best MK game, final secret or not.

What's all this "money in Boon's pocket" crap. Ed Boon is an employee of Midway. He has a salary just like every other programmer there, granted it's probably a lot more. Just because he game up with the premise for Mortal Kombat, Midway owns the rights to it, not him. So what you really should be saying is "more money in Midway's pocket!" Have you ever seen a Mortal Kombat product saying "property of Ed Boon, all rights reserved?" NO. What you see is "All logos, characters, names, etc. property of Midway, blah, blah, blah!"
