I loved MK1-mk3 and ultimate. I was almost tempted into buying a genesis and the 4 games (wish I had never got rid of it in the first place) but I am curious. Did midaway or any other Co. reproduce these games on any other platform? Say like an emulator (

mk 2 and mk3 on midway arcade treasures 2, out for xbox ps2 and gamecube has the best home versions to date. ps1 has trilogy, but its not all its cracked up to be. then your best bet is either snes, genesis, or buy actual arcade pcb boards and a cabinet. i did. but it ain't cheap. midway arcade treasures has mk 2 and regular mk3. both are great home translations. the best so far.

PC MK3 is the best port of an MK game ever. If you enjoy UMK3 for the arcade, then the greatest hits version of MKT for PSX would probably be really enjoyable since the UMK3 gameplay is thoroughly reproduced with tons of extra characters.
MK2 I don't know. SNES did a decent job of the game, with far better graphics and sounds then Genesis but it was far from Arcade quality. Saturn and PSX were pretty crappy as well. The PC version was pretty terrible, so the MAT2 version would definately be worth it since there are only a few problems with it.
MK1, better get the special edition of MKD to get that I guess.
