Anyone ever used the 'pen trick' for the Test Your Might parts of the games (original, Deadly Alliance, and Shaolin Monks)? You know the trick: you take a pen or some other smallish cylindrical object, and rub it back and forth across the buttons you needed to mash to raise the TYM bar up really fast. If so, would you consider that cheating?

NO WAY

I used it once . . . it would not be cheating at all, but I found out that my thumb was quicker than what I thought, so I don't use it much often . . . I guess you can say that my thumb quickness was built by practicing a lot. But, I used it when you had to grab Scorpions spear in Shaolin Monks, I used it on the first set, and then I said to myself, I will try my thumb, and well . . . it worked just as good. This may be totally different for you and others though.wink

Never heard of that trick...what I do is just tense up my arm to make my hand shiver and shake real fast to push the buttons rapidly.

Actualy I found it much easier to have one finger on each button and then push them all simultaneusly. This Quadrupled my THUMB potential

Lol, the only time I ever had to use the pen trick was in Metal Gear Solid 1. ( The torture sequence).
