Yep definately the classic MK rip off. I think we are all lucky that it never got released to the public in arcade form. Although it is a hoot to play it in MAME every now and then.

There are another MK Rip off,s:
Survival Arts:
The game features digitalized characters too, and there are huge in this game, like in Art of Fighting 2.
There arent command fatalities but sometimes the fighters exploding in a gory way after the final hit.
The Boss of the game is a Shang Tsung wannabe.
Time Killers:
The game features cartoon like characters, you can cut of arms and legs in the middle of the match, if you have no arms you fight with your legs only lol.
Blood Storm:
Very similar to Time Killers, nothing special to say about it only:
This game or better the Ad of this game is the reason why Johnny Cage wasnt in MK3, and had a different look in MKT.
Kasumi Ninja:
The game was released for the Atari Jaguar only. Digitalized characters, pretty good graphics but a very average gameplay. Blood from punches and kickes remain on the floor and during the fight. There are also Fatalities like in MK.

So many terrible games. Although I have to admit I did have some fun with Time Killers. Seeing someone fight just with headbutts after arms and legs have been cut off is hilarious.
Awesome info!
I didn’t know about the first game (the link you provided), but it looks really good. Is it really that bad? Looks fun to me. Cool graphics too. It would be interesting to play it.
The others, lol, they look horrible.
Cool info guys.
And yes, poor Johnny Cage, I remember the Add read something like “ITS SO GOOD EVEN JOHNNY CAGE HAS LEFT TO PLAY IT” or something like that.
Silly guy.

Can we have an enlargement of the Cage Bloodstorm poster, so I can read the small print? When I put it in the adress bar, I don't seem to be able to enlarge it.

I have played Bloodstorm,Survival Arts,Tattooed Assassins and Time Killers, they are fun to play and kinda hilarious sometimes,Tattooed Assassins had two unique finising moves: the Nudality (old silly rumor in mk games) and a "FARTality"
