This might belong in the classic MK games forum, but I'm posting it here because it does tie in to MKDA. Anyway...

I was thinking: We all know that the endings of Shinnok, Quan Chi, Reptile, and Baraka (MKGold) didn't happen, because of the state of things in MKDA...UNLESS...since we all know Scorpion's ending happened, what if Quan Chi waited to reveal his treachery and kill them AFTER he defeated Raiden and his forces? The Elder Gods, Earthrealm warriors, and Shinnok, not to mention those loyal to him (as mentioned in Baraka's ending) would have alredy been killed by Quan Chi, but Sub Zero and Scorpion may have been left to fight, perhaps merely for Quan Chi's amusement and satisfaction of the success of his plot with them. But when Scorpion rushed Quan Chi and brought him with him to the Netherealm, the entire success of his diabolical plot was copmpletely undone, returning everything to normal. Kinda like how everything returned to normal after the good guys won MK3, everyone on Earth got their soul back.

I know it's unlikely, but if it were true it would make MK4/Gold a very interesting occurence. Anyone else think this is possible?
