I know it's been mentioned many times on this board that people have heard something to the effect of "time's eyes will lead to saibot" whispered in the krypt, and it has been widely suggested that this is a hint to the final secret. Personally, although I have heard whispering in the krypt, none of it sounded like that to me; however, I had a theory on it assuming that's what it says.

As everyone knows, Saibot is Tobias, as in MK co-creator John Tobias, spelled backwards. As most of us also know, John left Midway and the MK team to found a new video game company, Gigante Studios (at least I think that's what it's called.) Anyway, Gigante released a game called Tao Feng. From what I've heard its reviews are less than extraordinary. Now, this leads up to my theory: my interpretation of the kryptic krypt whispers is that perhaps it is not a hint, but a prediction: basically, time will see the return of Tobias. In other words, Gigante will go under, and Tobias will come crawling back to Midway and the MK team.

I know it's not likely, but anyone else think it's possible? And furthermore, would you guys WANT Tobias to return? After all, Tobias used to write the MK storylines, and now John Vogel does; and MKDA's story is much more in-depth than anything in MK history. So how do you think Tobias' return, were it to happen, would affect the story?
