i wasn't sure whether to post this on the 1992-2000 or the other one but considering the original ultimate mortal kombat 3 was made between this time period i shall post it here, as anyone who has this on the 360 knows, combo's are harder to pull off due to the stupid joystick of the 360, and the d-pad doesn't help much either, but below are some easy way to pull off some moves that aren't so easy on the 360 controls.

Mercies, now i have screwed up mercies my fair share of times but there is an easy way to get them right every time, usually you have to hold down run (left trigger) and press down three times than let go of run (left trigger) but if you hold down run (left trigger) and press down like 5-10 times and let go of run (left trigger) it works just as well or even better in my opinion.

also i see people having alot of trouble doing things such as scorpions spear or smokes, this is due to they are pressing back,back more diagonally up, if you press back,back slightly downwards (just above diagonally down) it works every time, also try and work on presing it faster.

People have alot of trouble beating noob saibot and getting that acheivement, the easiest way to do it is to be sub-zero (not classic) and beat whichever ladder you want, when you get to shao khans treasures you pic the fourth one across (it is the number 3 symbol), this puts you into a fight with noob saibot, simply do an ice clone asap and keep pressing low punch (A) as fast as you can, this will get you a double flawless, remember that you cannot get the acheivement through the other two modes, you can only get it through mortal kombat mode.
