Yes i think an updated version of Mortal Kombat 2 would be awesome. And calling it Ultimate Mortal Kombat 2 would be a good name for it. This would be very easy for them to do,

Just make Smoke, Jade, Noob, Kintaro and Shao Khan playable on the select screen. I dont really care about the bosses being playable as there not that much fun in MK trilogy. But classic MK2 smoke, jade and noob are people we have never had. Then they could also add the RUN button as that would be a very easy feature.

Also a Ultimate Mortal Kombat 1 would be awesome, being able to play as the original Reptile that has both freeze and spears and both scoprion and sub-zeros fatalitys. Would be awesome. And play as old chang tsung and morph into everyone. This would also be easy for them to do.


I dont know if you guys know this but at Midway they have a Ultimate Mortal Kombat 4 arcade...its the only one of its kind, Only MK4 arcade ever to have Goro. It also has more bugs fixed. To most people this dont matter as Goro was in MK4 for all the home systems, but I think its a neat version b/c its the arcade version that has him.

We don't need run in MK 2.Jade Noob and Smoke just have higher speed.

Yea run could be an option on or off. I think it would be interesting with it.

Yeah would be cool, but couldn't see it happening. Plus it looks like MIDWAY has re-released MK2 and UMK3 for the last times. PS3 got MK2 for online and MK2 was unlockable in MK:SM. Then UMK3 was on Speacial Edition of MK:A, Xbox Live Arcade, and DS. So instead of another re-release of MK2 or an expandtion. I'd rather see then re-release MK:T with faster loading times, Both Chameleons etc. or a new 2-D MK.
