No since Mortal Kombat can't rip off Mortal Kombat, since UMK3 and MKT is part of the MK game family. To me for example bullet time has been ripped off, since many movies have used it, Matrix 1st used it therefore any and all films that use bullet time rip off Matrix 's ideas.
