umk3 hidden characters in netplay

hi!
i have unlocked classic sub-zero and when i'm playing in single mode he is selectable, my homie did the same, but when we are playing by net the classic sub-zero is gone!! any suggestions?? (mame ver 0,84u3)

Mame uses an nvram file which holds the info on what is enabled and the settings of the actual game, but when you play online this resets everytime to be sure the two people have the exact same settings to prevent desync, however it doesn't effect your offline nvram.

And the result of what MK2KB said is that you must unlock those characters every time you play online. Kinda sucks :-/

ok, thank for info but is there any faster way then using kombat kodes(i don't know some cheats or maybe using kaillera save and load state??)
