UMK3 Secret Characters Help...

I've recently started playing UMK3 again on xbox live arcade and I found out how to unlock Mileena, Ermac & Sub-Zero (Classic).

My problem is that when I come off the game and go back on it the characters are locked again.

Is that supposed to happen? Pretty haggis if it is.

P.S Sorry if this has been brought up before,
I used the search function but found nothing.

as i don't have a xbox i can't really help you

but i had the midway arcade treasures from the PS2 and when i unlocked smoke on MK3 it never saved when i turned it off :(

sucks don't it

Yeah that happened to me to. That's why its a crappy port. You can beat Noob Saibot soo easily in that game.

I have it for the NDS (which kicks major ass to play that game on the go :P) and i unlocked Emrac, Subz, and Milleena and they stayed unlocked on that console, so i don't see why they don't on yours. I'm not sure how the xbox arcade version works since i'v never played it, but if theres a save feature, try using it after unlocking them if you haven't already.
