I have mkda for xbox and i've tried to unlock each character. I can't get either to work. If anyone has done this, tell me what I am doing wrong. Or else tell me if this is just a fake cheat.

They're fake cheats dude. Neither are in the game (unless you count Shao Kahn's little cameo in the opening cinema).
