I remember this glitch, a guy by the name of Jon Miz made a tape for me of all the Sega MK3 fatalities to show me how terrible it was back in 9th grade, and he also stuck in the fighting on the buildings glitch. I would say it's bad programming and that somehow joining in with P2 screws something up while Shao Kahn is dying. It is very well possible that it was intentional though because I don't understand how a screen like that could get accidentally loaded as a BG.

I've never been able to do this glitch (I know how to do it), and I've never been able to see the glitch either, so does anyone have a screenshot?

I remember this glitch. Somewhat fun. I remember you'd hear a >crunch< at the beginning of rounds, but there was no music.

I have been trying to get it to work but for some reason my Genesis emulator just freezes when it goes to the round.

Secret stage:

Defeat Shao Kahn to display a message stating that you are the new MK3 champion. Press Start on the controller that was not used to defeat Shao Kahn. The two player selection screen will appear with "-" displayed as the next level. Continue game play to fight on the screen that states you are the next champion. Note: Using an uppercut during this match will result in the fight ending with no winners. Defeat your opponent without using any uppercuts to fight Shao Kahn again. I'm just going to look for the tape and get screenies from that.

It sounds cool! But the graphics were soooo bad compared to SNES that I'm not sure its worth doing.

It ocassionly crashed the SegaG it self but was cool cause there would be shadows in thin air and you are just walking, then I want to say we used Sindel's fly to make it look more natural. I remember that noise too. God, its been a few years since I did that.
