I think Midway should really consider this. Everyone realy wants it. A collection of every arcade MK game ever made for the next generation systems, and if they have one, another version let me explain.

Disc 1 would of course be the original Mortal Kombat. On this same disc if there ever was another version of MK1 then it too should be optional to play here.

Disc 2 would be an excellent version of MKII. The other version would be the rumored Challenger Version.

Disc 3 would of course be Ultimate MK3. The other version would be the Wavenet UMK3.

Disc 4 would be MK4, and even though it wasn't released as an arcade version MK Gold.

Would you buy something like this if it ever came out? Why, or why not? I would. Having every MK game ever made in arcades, or to exist would be cool.

When something better than UMK3 comes out, I'll let you all know, because it still hasn't happened yet.

They could put every version, and every hack, for every MK game, 1 through 4, on one DVD, and still have an enormous amount of room for full length full quality behind the scenes videos.

One of the best posts I've seen on MKO.

I think they should. Hell they could even put another version of trilogy on there (done right of course) and maybe even use sprites of the 3d guys in there.

Just fork over the extra ten dollars and get a Special Edition pack of MK:D w/MK1. And shell out the 20 bones for Midway Arcade Treasures 2 w/MK2 and MK3. That's the first three MK's right there.

I don't understand why they all need to be on 1 disc either. I mean, c'mon.. how lazy are we? For most of us, we've had all of our MK games on a number of different consoles, and we've had to tolerate some fairly crappy, half-assed home ports. So I don't see why people are still asking for more.

After this October, all that should really be missing now is Ultimate MK3, MK4.. and maybe MK Gold. Perhaps we may see one or two of those games pop up elsewhere, and maybew we won't. But if they were to put together a ''kompilation,'' I certainly don't see why they'd need to put the first three MK's on there now as a re-hash.
