I actually prefer the arcade. I didn't really like MK:Gold, because I didn't really like the Dreamcast D-Pad. Also, the computer animated movies sucked, I liked the originals better.

I like MK Gold. More fighters, and more secrets than MK4. If you didn't like the joystick of the Dreamcast do what I did. I converted my Dreamcast into a stand up arcade machine housing Mortal Kombat Gold. I also did the same thing for MK Trilogy on the Saturn. Just an idea for ya.

I play MK4 arcade a lot more. It's just much more polished. Plus it's cool playing the arcade.

MK Gold is better overall though. The extra characters are just too much of an addition to overlook.

Neaither.Sorry but those games suck mkt was the last good mk game. I wish mk4 and gold where never made what a disgace to the series along with Special forces and Mythologies.

Gold, because they added all three of my favourite characters to it. Not that it was a great game to begin with...

MKGOld is Better then MK4

I thought MK Gold was better then MK4 but the only thing that I thought was bad about the game was the controls I mean the game wasn't meant for the Dreamcast controls.
