Some people have said 'classics'. I'm pretty sure they don't just mean MK1. What is classic to everyone else? To me, it's MK1-MKT.
MK, MKII, MK3, UMK3, MKT and MK4 are all classic MK fighting games, anything else should not be in this forum, but sometimes people do talk about Mythologies and Special Forces, etc.
MK1
MK2
MK3
UMK3
MKT
MK4
MKSZM
MK:SF (MKG
MK:DA
These are all the games that don't have it's own board. BTW, this used to be the MK:DA forum, where they wanted to put all classics in General.

the "classic mk games" means the mk games with the old control system, that is : one button for high punch, one for low punch, one for low kick, one for high kick, one for block and one for run. Mk1-->mk4/g have it. The new mk games on ps2 like mkda and mkd have a control system which is much more like tekken than like the previous mk , there are no more common basic moves, indeed one same button is a kick with some characters, but with some others it will be a punch....that's also why the gameplay has so radically changed...for the worst unfortunately.

MK - MK:DA, not including MK:SZ and MK:SF because they're not part of the actual series itself, but still should be placed in this forum because they're isn't a specific forum for them. I consider MK:DA to be "classic" because, it went gold or platnium or whatever it was, lol. It sold enough copies to be considered "classic" in my book.
