What happened to Tanya after MK4 and before MK:DA

I know in her Deception bio, she mentions that she was the Deadly Alliance's ambassador, but what about before that? I mean there's no way she was their ambassador before DA took place, so what was she doing after Shinnok's defeat and those white blank eyes imply that she is undead (see Scorpion and Sindel), but Tanya says in her bio that she survives because she makes the right choices, so that can't be it. So does anyone know the answer or is it a mystery?

Probably hiding out. In between MK4 and MK:DA, the Edenian army was steamrolling through Outworld, so Tanya was probably just laying low.
^Ah, yeah, makes sense, but I want to know how her eyes suddenly went from brown eyes (I think her eyes were brown in MK4/MKG, correct me if I'm wrong) to blank white eyes.

Eyes in MK are fucked up. Mileena was dead, had no pupils in MKG then grew them back in MKD (!!!)
I'd say giving Tanya the eyes was just to make her look more evil. We didn't know Tanya was evil until the end of MK4 so they had to give her a nuetral look. Now we know she's an evil cow (which we all love) they probably went all out. Just a theory, not every little detail in MK is completely thought out to be honest.

Well Shaolin Monks seems to imply that she never died... (Mileenia I mean)

No Mileena dies, look at her bio in deception. Now for Tanya she went home when Shinnok died & Quan Chi bannished to the netherrealm. She was at home relaxing & then Onaga said "Join or die" & of course that bitch being Tanya joined...but it was only for her benefit because we know what the bitch did.

Tanya joined up with Shao Kahn's army after MK4. That's where ALOT of the warriors went after Shinnok croaked. Tanya helped to hold Sindel when Outworld infiltrated Edenia during the war. Shujinko came and freed her, though. When the DA punched out Kahn, well.....Tanya's services belonged to them right after.
^Oh, you got that from Deception's Konquest huh? Well, don't take everything from Konqust canon, as before Hotaru throws you in jail Raiden is getting ready to fight the Deadly Alliance and he resides in jail for "years" but yet in Edenia, Kitana is still there saying she is fighting Shao Kahn.

Don't take appearances for granted. It's not like they can make him age naturally in a video game. He probably looked alot older when that happened. Those years could've been just two....2004-2006

True, but I would believe that Tanya was just roaming the realms, trying to avoid any conflict.

Don't forget that time does work differently in each realms.



For example, in one realm a few days can be equal to a few weeks in another realm.


Also in MK SM, Jax will state that he feels that time flows differently in Outworld than in Earth.
