I personally feel that Mortal Kombat trilogy is by far the best Mortal Kombat game ever made.
between the Juggles the Powers the Characters Fatalities.
its like the greatest phenomenon known to man
smile

Ed Boon Out did himself with that one and I believe they shud release Mortal Kombat Trilogy for xbox 360's Arcade.

that wud be amazing.
but I would love to have everyone elses Opinion on this.

Personally, a heck of a lot of people say MK2 was the best MK game ever made.

And no, I'm not out of my mind, I don't see Trilogy as the best MK game there is because it's just UMK3 with the bosses, Cage and Baraka playable... and the Chameleons but they're useless characters... The bosses sucked, come on, Motoro's head rip, seriously?

MK2 is by far the best out of the entire series in my opinion, not trilogy.

Umm... I would agree with you on Trilogy being the best one, but the music seems to be low pitched and when you fight in the courtyard while the music is playing the rooftop theme, it doesn't feel right, not that I'm saying it's bad, just unfitting. I wished the music was in the right places like the Courtyard from MK1 have it's music and the Pit 1 and 2 have its songs from the MK1 and 2. MK2 is very hard, yet people say it's the best. I might agree with you on that. Between MK1 through MKT, I would say MK3, it have the combo system, making it easiler for us players to finish the game and you can finally fight in the streets and the city. MK3 or UMK3 is the best. I hope Ed Boon brings back the 2D gameplay that made Mortal Kombat better than any fighting game in the world.

I think ed Boon should try to strike a deal with Xbox and see if they can get Mortal Kombat trilogy as a Arcade download. that would be insane. I would personally go and get them Microsoft points to get that game

the best games are 1.umk 2.mk4 3.mk2 4.mk1 5.mkda

just my opinion!!! they really need to consider going back to 2d, because most of the 3d games are lame and tooooo slow.

I agree that MK: Trilogy is a great game. However, MK2 is the best Mortal Kombat game ever made. In my opinion, MK2 definitely had the highest replay value. The game was challenging, but fun. Trilogy was fun too, however they used the some of the same music for different levels. Also, MK:T wasn't very different from UMK:3, maybe a few new playable characters, but that's about it.

My top 5 rankings are

1.MK2
2.MK:T
3.MK:D
4.MK:A
5.MK:DA

I don't own it but I have played MKT before!!! Pretty freaking sweet!!!! I especially like how you can play as all of the Lin Kuei in Mega Endurance!!! And you can play as Shao Kahn!!! Now you can beat the boss with the boss!

I hate how the Nintendo DS version of UMK3 doesn't include Rain!!! He is probably one of the more useful characters. Now Noob Saibot is in the game, but he is one of the unlockable match characters.

Personally, the Nintendo DS version (entitled Ultimate Mortal Kombat), should be a remake of UMK3 and not leave out Rain. Sadly, it doesn't. I heard through a past issue of Nintendo Power, that it " was a classic throw back to the UMK3".

I can beat the game, only this one fact that I can't play without my nerves getting to me in round 3 against Motaro. Yeah I have beaten Motaro in the past, but my nerves still are horrible. Then there is the final boss Shao Kahn. One I can get (with Sub-Zero, not Classic). I also can get him if I practice my timing.
