I know a handful of you have, but I have seen so many people comment on things like "I've never even played the arcade version." for certain topics in the past, and with Quirk's post asking about Shang's laughing (I'm sure he's beaten MK2 he just misunderstood) I would like to know how many of you have beaten an arcade game, and which ones.

I have beaten, all of them, with just about every character.

In the arcade, I've beaten MKI with every character, MKII with every character, MK3 with every character and UMK3 with every character. I've never played arcade MK4 because I had it for my PSX and didn't really see the point of pumping quarters into something I could play for free at home. ;)

I have beaten Arcade MK1 on normal difficulity with every character (although I always use Scorpion or Sub Zero to beat Goro), MK2 on normal with every character but Kitana and Shang Tsung (but that's simply because I don't like them), and MK3 on highest difficulity with every character. Yea, I love MK3. grin

I never beat UMK3. It's not worth playing with that fucken hard AI. Same goes for MK2...sometimes.

Beaten them all with all...I was an MK arcade whore back in the day. I'd go to the Nickelcade from open to close 3-4 times a week (nice life eh?) Helped me quit smoking, heh.
Well, i own a MK2 Arcade machine so i beat that game maybe a hundred times with every Character on every difficult, but the CPU really sucks on nearly every MK game, the fairest CPU is the MK1, i dont say its the easyiest, but the CPU in MK1 dont make things that are impossible to do, like permanent Fan Throw with Kitana ect.
I really have seen mad things that the CPU is doing in MK2, I dont take it serious anymore, the CPU cheats and have unfair advantages like unblockable throwing from wide distance ect.
Of course i can easily kill the CPU in MK2, but with really stupid patterns that are just make no fun.
in MK3 the CPU sometimes maked stupid thinks too, like 3 or 4 times in a row Spindash with Kabal, but execpt that is wasnt to hard to kill the CPU.
UMK3 is a joke, of course there are some patterns with that you can kill even on UMK3 the CPU, but thats not the deal, only to beat the CPU with some patterns that work.
I didnt play MK4 much, but a friend played MK Gold on Dreamcast much, and he told me that the CPU simply have more energy on the higher towers, i dont know if that is correct.
I personnaly played many fighting games, and the CPU from the MK games is in my opinion the cheapest and crappiest one from all.

MK1 cheapness: ducking kick into throw = BULLSHIT!

...and Goro throwing you after every Nut Punch you get on him, EVEN WHEN IT KILLS HIM!

I've beaten all MK arcade machines but MK1. As I said before I just discovered MK1 arcade , the home systems just came out and I played those. Before I knew it as soon I went back to the arcade ( like 4 months later) MK2 was out.Since then I have been all MK arcade machines. All have been fun to do.

at the time I was playing, it was almost impossible to play against the computer at the arcade, because it was always full of people in front of the MK machines.

I've only beat MK1 with Sub-Zero(I was so happy)

MK2 with Baraka

I've never beat MK3 and I've beat UMK3 with Smoke(robot), I've never beat MK4.

However I've beat the computer with every characters on home consoles.

Same thing happened to me. I was lucky enough to beat them once or twice since there was always someone waiting to kill me.

MK- Sub-Zero

MK2-Scorpion

MK3- RoboSmoke and Kabal

UMK3-Human Smoke and beat Noob then.

MK1 and MK2 were the most packed arcade machines ever in all my local arcades. Mk1 was just a new concept and people(myself included) loved the idea of beating the crap outta your opponent and then killing them. MK2 just made it all that better and seeing Smoke poke his head out of the trees made it all the more fun trying to find him.

I've Played and seen almost Every Ending in MK, MKII, MK3 & UMK3 Arcade... on Mame32.

As a SNES LongTime User I've Realized Nintendo Took and Hide Many Things away from Me, it's Sad to see The Brand that I Trusted for so Many Years Cheated so Cheap on Me.

I have been able to Play Arcade Version Thanks to Mame32, I Live in Mexico, and Arcade Places are Very Limited, and besides Coins (or Tokens, depending on The Local) were Everything but Cheap.

It Remembers Me that once, I Joined every Old Mexican Coin that I could Find in My House, they were a Lot, and were The same Size as Quarters; so I Teamed Up w/a Boy Next Door, went to The Local Arcades and We Both Played until We got Tired (UMK3 of course, Who's is this Red Scorpion? I Thought ); If We have Spent The same Quantity in Old Mex Coins that in Real Money, that would be a Bunch of $$$!.

I'm able to see Every Ending Thanks to Pugsley Cheat File, You can do Stuff that were Just Impossible although You Owned The Arcade (Besides I can Play Using Two PS®2 Pads w/an USB Adapter).

I've Found an UMK3 Arcade at a Bus Station, but The Game is inside an Old KI Cabinet confused, I Think I'm going down there and Spend Couple Quarters.

My Point is I'm Playing Arcades Now... Thanks to Mame32 & Pugsley Cheat File, and The same goes for KI.

MK1 with everyone, MK2 with everyone, and MK3/U with everyone. I never played MK4 much on the arcades, and the only person i beat it with was scorpion.

I came close to beating MK3 in the arcade but that was before I knew the Uppercut Strategy for Motaro. The only games I finished in the arcade were Tekken 3 and Marvel vs Street Fighter.

Hmm, I have now beaten mk1-umk3 for the arcade with emus. I remember beating MK1 with most everybody on a machine by the beach when I was younger. MK2 I wasn't around too much for so I only beat it with a few people before I got it emued for the comp. I played it enormous amounts on SNES, but that just isn't the same.

MK3 for the arcade I beat with just about everybody, the same with UMK3 for the arcade, because by that time I had MK2KungBroken to play against and a machine right by my house to play on.

I too have beaten all five MK arcade games with every fighter. Five is you count MK3 and UMK3 as two seperate games. If you've played each one as much as I have, you tend to pick up on strengths, and weaknesses on every fighter when playing the CPU. I have beaten each game on the hardest difficulty setting. It is pretty simple once you figure out the CPU, no matter how smart, or cheatting it can be, there is still a way to figure out what it is going to do next. It did take me a while, I'll admit, to learn each strength to use against the CPU for whichever fighter I chose, but after I figured them out, I was unstoppable.

I've beaten the arcade versions of MKI MK3 and MK4, just not MKII. Maybe the difficulty on the machine I was playing was bumped up a little too high for me at the time. Every time Kintaro would always whup my ass, so I've never beaten, or in fact seen anyone beat MKII in the arcades. Of course I was twelve the last time I was even able to FIND an MKII arcade machine, so I might be able to do it now.

btw, I'm on a 14.4 modem so running the ROM on MAME is pretty much out of the question :\

MKII was where I really got into it all... I beat that one numerous times. A couple of times I beat it on a single quarter, which felt nice grin. At some point I've beat it with every character, but what I usually do is play with a character until I get to Jade, then once I beat Jade I switch to Kitana or Shang Tsung (the arcade lets you switch characters after fighting secret characters; not sure if it does that on the home versions). That's because the only way I can ever beat Kintaro is to use Kitana, or to use Shang Tsung and transform into Kitana.

I beat MK3 a handful of times... never did beat UMK3 though.

MKI: Scorpion, Raiden

MKII v.1.0: Kitana (KINTARO IS A PRICK)
MKII later versions: Everyone but Reptile

MKIII: Kabal, Smoke, Sub-Zero, Sektor, Cyrax, Tsung, Sindel

UMK3: All the ninjas and cyber-ninjas, Tsung, Jade, Stryker (CPU Jade is also a prick)

MK4: Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reiko, Quan Chi, Tanya

I have no clue what the difficulty settings were, but MKIII was jacked up.

What the hell was UMK3 Wavenet all about? I heard Noob Saibot was different. How?
