When something better than UMK3 comes out, I'll let you all know, because it still hasn't happened yet.
1. Sub-zero (broken ass ice clone resulting in huge damage combos, you can do it anywhere as close are you want to someone, right directly on them even)
2. Kabal (really close to Sub, they are practically tied for first because he's more broken than UMK3, full damage combos as well, lack of JP starters effects him, but makes up for lost damage on the full combos)
3. Jax (super missiles with no recharge time, all the sweep backbreak tactics still there, very little teleport competition)
4. Nightwolf (still deadly ground combos, still quick, no fast arrow, doesn't really hurt him much)
5. Kano (almost exactly like UMK3, without the upward cannonball but all the same ground tactics and options)
6. Robot Smoke (slightly slower spear, no limit on hits before spear and corner infinite)
7. Sindel (pretty much the same as UMK3, no JP starters weaken her combo damage accessibility slightly, scream still works the same)
8. Sonya (no pop up combo, hurts her a lot, still great rush down)
9. Cyrax (more freedom with his bombs, and net, his throw damage is more, no DP off it, doesn't count as part of a combo, etc, increasing his juggling ability and damage, remember no push back on corner roundhouse, it helps corner combos, still a hard to use character)
10. Stryker (no riot gun, hurts him a lot, but still has the zoning and a big damage combo)
11. Kung Lao (spin's hit detection is terrible, but if you do hit it, it doesn't activate damage protection in MK3 so easy big damage combos)
12. Liu Kang (no pop up, makes no difference as it is worthless, can run after the bike kick, doesn't help him too much)
13. Sektor (the same as UMK3, homing missile tactics sometimes work, limited combo and juggle ability)
14. Shang Tsung (same, less morphs, less overall competition)
15. Sheeva (still pretty bad)

Bicycle Kick then Leg Grab. A fantastic combo. Her sqaure wave punch is also very handy.

If memory serves, bicycle kick to leg grab is blockable, in all situations.
It is but they are very sudden, fast moves and whenever I play MK3 I find it a good method with Sonya.

AIM BustaUppa if you're up for some Kaillera (after 6 PM Eastern... can't slack off THAT much while I'm at work)
12. Liu Kang (no pop up, makes no difference as it is worthless, can run after the bike kick, doesn't help him too much)

It's still not DPed in UMK3 as far as I remember if you get it in the corner, which sometimes is not blockable.
Bike Kick - 7 hitter - Standing HK combo:
MK3 = 56%
UMK3 = 48%

well I only beat it with sheeva (massive combos) and noob Saibot. (sheap cloud thing)
so i say:
Noob
They're talking about MK3. Noob wasn't playable until UMK3 for SNES and Genesis and UMK3 Wavenet.
Sonya
Bicycle Kick then Leg Grab. A fantastic combo. Her sqaure wave punch is also very handy.
I love to do that too.
But in MKU/T I love to do that pop up combo that starts with some punches and the she uppercuts the victim, I quickly jump kick him and then do the leg grab. I dont remember if it takes a lot of health but its fun. I think if Im lucky I can pull a bicycle kick somewhere in there.

I played around with corner combos with Sub-Zero on airborne opponents, using a Jump Kick followed by an Ice Clone, and the variation that gave me the most damage so far did 84% damage, but it's been a while since I pulled this one off, so I don't remember the exact combo. I think it was roundhouse an airborne enemy, Ice Blast, Jump Kick, Ice Clone, Roundhouse, Ice Blast, Roundhouse, Uppercut, Slide. (I think the second Roundhouse and ice blast may not be part of that combo, I don't remember off the top of my head).
Kabal, on the other hand...I managed to pull off 1% damage shy of a kill combo with him. Kabal has to be cornered for this one to work, and close enough for a standing HP to hit (without engaging in a dial-a-combo). Do that rapid-fire HP on them, and right when they're pushed back, do the dash spin move, ground saw, and while the ground saw is still underneath the enemy, run to the enemy and do HK, HK, HP, HP, D+HP, and then do a DEEP Jump Kick, Air Fireball, run to the enemy and hit him with an HK. That particular variation did 98% damage, so I decided to play with it by replacing the standing HK with a roundhouse. That variation did 99%. I think adding a second deep jump kick right before the air fireball could turn it into a kill combo.
Needless to say, the Sub-Zero combo and variations of it won't work in UMK3 because of that push-back on the corner roundhouse and because the Ice Clone won't freeze opponents when done up-close from that game on. And, that Kabal combo won't do as much damage in UMK3 because they toned him down a bit.

I made an example 100% CPU only combo for Kabal in MK3 a while back.
Kabal CPU 100
