Of all the many hidden characters from all the MK games, which one was your favourite to fight (or play as) after you found them.

Fighting would have to be between Reptile in MK1 and Smoke in MK2. Finally made up my mind and in UMK3 the best was Human Smoke. His combos were brutal, but he is pretty even with Ermac if you ask him.

Smoke was my Second place after Ermac. In MK2 I though Smoke was awesome, and Human Smoke in UMK3 is still awesome, but Ermac just beats him out thanks to his abusive nature.

Smoke was a kick ass hidden character in MK2. Even though he was my favourite hidden character, i must say, i was more shocked and suprised when i first fought noob. I was playing MK2 with my cousin for a period of time. After the 50 matches went by, and the fight with noob came, i was so shocked and pumped up. I never expected anything like that to happen, it was a great memory.

Rain in UMK3 is my favorite hidden character to date. To this day there has been no supposed code, or anything to suggest he even exists except for a VS Screen Code. So Rain from Ultimate MK3 would have to be my favorite hidden character due to that reason, because he is still hidden.

I've never played UMK3 so could you explain this to me in more detail. Have you or anyone ever used Rain in UMK3? Like if you put in the VS Screen Code is he unlocked? Cus I dont know what you mean by 'he is still hidden'?
Thankyou.

Noob Saibot in SNES MK2. I remember how much fun it was to use that game genie code, play as him, and beat the crap out of Shao Kahn. For some reason the game was harder when playing as Noob.

Smoke in MKII. I remember reading about him in Tips & Tricks #1, going with a friend to the arcade, depositing five bucks or something, and having D+START uppercut competitions every time the Portal came up.

And I'll never forget the 20 seconds it took him to kick my ass.

What I meant was, no one knows how to play as Rain in the arcade version of UMK3. Plus no one knows how to fight him either. That's what I meant by he is still hidden. I know the home versions for Genesis, and SNES had Rain, but those versions were a small MK Trilogy in my opinion. In arcade enter the VS Screen Code 717313 and a text message appear: "Rain Can Be Found In The Graveyard". I've tried entering this code while on the Graveyard stage, and nothing happens. I've also tried past hidden character methods on trying to find a way to fight him. A.K.A. MK1 Finding Reptiles, MKII Finding Jade, Smoke, or Noob, etc. Nothing seems to work that way either. I've even tried the VS Screen Code while on the Graveyard stagw with Reptile as my fighter, and tried a Human Smoke like code. I changed buttons, and directions so I tried different codes too. Nothing seems to work. Rain is the Ultimate Hidden fighter in an arcade platform. He is still hidden, and will remain hidden, and only one person knows for sure if he is real, or fake. I have never played as Rain in the arcade version of UMK3, nor have I fought him. I have played as Noob Saibot, and fought Noob as well, and same for Human Smoke. But not Rain. Anyway, that's what I meant.

Oh, ok thanks for clearing that up. I'd never heard of that graveyard message before, but I bet they still left Rain out of the game in the arcade version. It seems they just throw messages in like that just to add to the replay value in every single installment of MK. Quite clever really.....

Trynax, the reason is because you can't play as, or fight against Rain in any version of UMK3 arcade, not even Wavenet.

As much as I hate to say it. I'm going to have to agree with MK2Kung on this one.

Rain is a joke and a method of tricking people to put more money into finding him when they never will.

MK3 cyborg Smoke. He was the first real Arcade Mortal Kombat hidden character and he had the funniest Fatality ever (Armageddon).

Ermac in MK1.... not really... Reptile in MK1 would have to be my favorite or possibly Human Smoke in UMK3 due to the fact that it was suprising to find out he was there and was hrader to access than the other secret characters who were unlocked most of the time in the arcade anyway...
