survival is in the gba versions, time trial i have no idea what the hell that means, two on two they have in mk:te called tag team, so in a way, yes its all in it, but on the console version, uhhhhhhh, no.
I think this is also due to the awful time restraints Midway gave there MK:Team with this game. Maybe they originally intended for some of those game modes to be in it. But if your ever expecting tag team to show up in a MK game that isnt a port and is directly from the MK:Team I wouldnt expect it. Ed Boon was asked about this in an interview and he said something along the lines of We dont feel a tag team game mode fits the game play of a Mortal Kombat.

I don't exactly remember where I read it, but Boon was considering a Tag Team mode or something, but because each charecter had such a high poly count, there wasn't enough memory to allow two extra fighters.

Time trial would be cool to see in MK6 that way you can see how fast you beat your opponets.
Personally Arcade Mode in MKDA is like survial mode to me...If you put it on Max since your opponet get's harder and harder during the match.
Tag Time has it's pro's and con's:
Pro's:
2 player co-op would be fantastic
Tag team combo's
the only con I see here is how can the MK team make Tag-Team mode MK-ish.

More secrets instead of empty coffins wouldve been nice. I wish they had more time to do something about that. It wouldve been so nice to find among those many extras a fully playable classic mk game or something similar to that umk3 combo video from many fans of those games.
Man whoever said progress was a slow process wasnt talkin bout me i'm a p.i.m.p. plus i got the magicstick |

there were defiantely a lot of things that should have been in the game but i also personally cut them some slack because it was the first time they made a 3d Mk game and for what its worth its a really cool fighter......That said, if and when MK6 comes out and those options are not in it along with hidden characters (no mokap crap), then they will have no excuse and i wont accept time constraints as a valid excuse , since they have already shown that they can handle 3d really well as proven my MKDA

Don't believe a word Ed Boon says. He lies all the time trying to cover up how crap he and his team is.
Tag team doesn't suit the MK style? That's why he was talking about it all the time until it all went quiet, then suddenly it never existed. Remember double fatalities? remember how good this game sounded BEFORE we knew anything concrete about it? All the cool stuff was dropped.
I suppose having 3 stances, a poor rip off of the soul calibur engine, a button for special moves (WTF?!) and a limted weapon system where weapons appear out of thin air is in keeping with the MK style.
ED BOON IS A LYING IDIOT.
