I agree! The MK:DA Characters looked cartoony
and in the old games you could do ridiculously
high somersaults!
I'm not saying MK:DA was bad, and I'm confident
that MK:D will be amazing, but I do miss
the good ol' days

i agree, plus the old games were just more fun in general, MK:DA angered me more than a video game should

I definately prefer U/MK3/T more then any of the new ones, even MK4 started to lose the feel for me. I think MKDA was really close to getting it, and I am hoping that in MKD they pull it together.

I think the MK series could be considered as 2 different groups.

group 1) MK1, 2, 3, UMK3, MK4, MKGold, MKtrilogy

group 2) MKDA, MKDeception (the rebirth games of MK)


Although I loved group 1, group 2 is still very fun to play. (As will MKD).

Yes, it was more sinister and 'dark', and because of the human sprites used, it felt real than when compared to the likes of street fighter II. The overall gore was a shock and there was plenty of it!

The original Mortal Kombat is my favourite game of all time!

Yeah plus what I really think that is better in that game is how everybody isn't as heavy looking and they can move around faster in the original games. Plus the costumes of the Ninja's were awesome too.

My favorite ninja was Reptile. My other favorite was Sub-Zero. What's yours? Im just curious.
