Why wasn't Tobias a part of MK:DA?

This may have been done before, but why wasn't John Tobias' name in the credits for MKDA?

Perhaps Rayokaa can give a more detailed explanation, but as stated above, john Tobias doesnt work for midway anymore.

John Tobias created Studio Gigante which is a second party to Microsoft now I believe. Right now, Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus is the only game the team has made but I have a feeling their hard at work designing their next game whatever it may be.

Thanks a lot. I thought it was strange since him and Ed Boon created the MK world together in the first place and now hes gone.

That could be true...I wasn't a huge fan of this first Tao Feng, but if I'm not mistaken Tobias is the one who created most of the MK storyline(s). So I'd expect this next one to be more in-depth, building on the groundwork he has laid.

Yeah, Vogel fucking owns. I also think his story/characters/whatever is so much better than John Tobias' CRAP. Seriosuly, Tobias just went stupid after MKII. Mk3 was a dumb war, MK4 was a dumb war. I bet if he would've stayed in the MK Team, MKDA would've been ANOTHER dumb fucking war.
