I love the new gameplay from deadly alliance and deception, but I miss the moments and feeling of the older 2d games. Will they ever come back? I doubt there is anything new to put in them, but if the new mk game could have both "modes" it would much funner if you wanted to play old mk every once in a while.

There are a lot of old gameplay elements that didn't make the crossover and should have. With the way they did things in MKDA and MKD they obviously had the old system in mind, but they sorta left out some very important parts which made the games incredibly terrible and broken. When you mix in the pseudo 3D concept with the pace of the old games, and on top of that high, medium, and low hitting attacks, with very little time to react, it makes the game un-fun. I thought it would be a great idea to have as a bonus using the graphics that already exist, and make a "klassic style" so you could play with the higher frame rate and better graphics, only using the old system of play with the HP LP HK LK BL and Run. Throw in netplay and I can bet you that it would be more popular in the long run.

Exactly what I want. One of the bigger problems with the new mk games is that the moves are to fast and too numerous. Its based too much on the combo systems, and most low attacks so fast that you literally cant see it happen until your lying face down in the dirt. They really need to put the classic game elements back in.
