Xbox - PAL version freezes?

Has anyone else had the problem of the game freezing?

It has happened to me a couple of times now, with Subzero, Frost & Johnny Cage.
And happens when jumping towards the opponent and doing a kick. It freezes for like 2-3 secs, and then continues.

Also another problem I have had was the sound. It totally screwed up and continued to screw up for several hours. During the fights it would make a rough screeching sound. Quite annoying
No, works for me fine, so far (well, I've had tha character floating glitch as the next round begins, they flot for a second then drop down, but nothing else).

It freezes for me, seemingly randomly. For a couple of seconds, as you said ... but that's very rare ...

I'd say for the sound you may have a dodgy version of the game...

When Xbox released its US version in september, certain DVD-ROM's would freeze on certain moves. Personally I would return the game before its too late and get a new MKDA.

Where was your xbox made? and did you get it when it came out, my first xbox was made in Hungary and was generally crappy, it wouldnt read cd's properly and had problems with games e.t.c. so i sent it back to MS who replaced it for free, now this one even plays CD-R's which is sweet amd I havnt had any trouble since.

I think the early batches had weaker DVD drives.

I got the same problem, it does happen mostly when i'm fighting in the acid bath arena.
First I thought is was the DVD itself, but now I see you guys have the same problems.

I only have that screwed sound sometimes when i'm fighting Moloch and the announcer says Moloch Wins.
Other then that I never had that problem.
