I'm very disappointed to hear that the MKD AI seems to be more of the same. I agree with almost everything Purple Bunny said, with the exception of the UMK3/MKT AI, which I found was ridiculously easy once you developed patterns. That pissed me off though, because completing the game became a chore. Utterly and totally.

Sad that the only time I have fun is when I play against the MKII AI. And even then...

Anyway, for someone like me, who's on 56K (thus being barred from online Kombat) and has no friends who play fighting games, this is horrible news. I have no choice but to fight the AI. I was really hoping for more. Looks like I actually now have one complaint about the game - unless they fix this. Oh well.

I hear you... I'm in the same situation. No friends who cares about fighting games. So its horrible news for me as well. I may buy the stuff to go online with my ps2.. we'll see.

Im tired of people who get pissed off at people and say they are complaing just because the have an opinion thats different.

No one says shit when one person goes off complimenting this game, but half you people take it to heart when someone doesnt like something. ITS CALLED AN OPINION.... DEAL WITH IT.

NO GAME HAS EVER BEEN PERFECT... meaning there are flaws... meaing there are things to complain about. Maybe they are little things to you, but if someone wants to bring it up, they should be allowed to.

This is a Mortal Kombat message board... its purpose is to discuss the MK games... regardless if the discussion is negative or positive.

Now with that said, I have never had a problem with the AI. My only problem with MKDA was that it was slow and the characters all moved the same and other than knowing when was the right time to use a special and when wasn't, there was really no strategy needed.

Oh yeah, and the Krypt and all the unlockables were fuccin Garbage.... YEAH, I GOT A PICTURE OF A MK FRISBEE... WHOO!

When anybody says "I think the fighting system is fine." or "MK:DA was awesome, MK:D will be too" people just call them ignorant idiots who don't know what a "true" fighting game is. Don't act like the people who criticize MK are the only ones that are discriminated against.

Its pretty annoying whenever anyone posts an opinion that a group of fuccin idiots have to go off when they dont have the same opinion... it doesnt matter what its about... its annoying...

yeah, its annoying when someone just consistantly complains... and every thread they make is a complaint, but still, its a message board, and regardless if the opinion is positive or negative, the person is allowed to post it and shouldnt have to worry about being attacked... and there is a difference between disagreeing and attacking.

The way it appears to me, is we have two different types of people on here:

1) people who love MK and anyone that says its got flaws is a horrible person

2) people who love MK and have ideas that would make it a better game.

And to me, #1 attacks #2 when #2 says something that would go against the "MK is MK and its perfect".

Actually this is how I see it...

1. People who think they know more than anybody else. They try to force their opinions onto people and they insult anybody who thinks different.

2.People who like or dislike MK and express themselves in a mature way. They respect people that have different opinions and provide their ideas in a civilized manner.

We have tons of "1" people on these forumns who constantly argue with each other, and very few "2" people.

You know, I LOVE Mortal Kombat. I really do. But I've always hated the computer. Because nine times out of ten, it gets away with things no human player would ever be able to pull off. And there's no actual strategy to the AI either. Notching the difficulty up only increases the computer's odds of frustrating you. So yeah, I hope there's better AI too, but I'm not expecting it. And I can deal with that, because I'd rather play against a human opponent either. Because at least a human opponent will FINISH ME
