Good point, but I doubt it. That might be where Onaga comes in from, just to add a cool effect to the background. Maybe the spikes go down as he enters the stage and go back up. I doubt that those dragons will do anything to do, unless they come to life, toss you up in the air and each of them eats part of you or something. There might be something else that we can't see, but who knows.

Its not what you think. The pic is contradicting. Look at the spikes on all sides. You will see one spike on each side that seems spaced evenly and towards the top. Its just the design of the spikes.

I wouldn't doubt it cuz one stage has like 3 death traps so having 2 on his arena wouldn't suprise me.
