2 and hari kiri

2 fatalities per character plus a hari kiri move. The only other hari kiri we have seen is Hotaru in his alt costume snapping his own neck. We have heard that Sub Zero freezes himself solid then falls over and shatters. No one has seen that one yet though.

and the prpose of the HARA-KIRI is to die with honour by killing yourself instead of being humiliated by your foe...capisce?

hari kari is an honorable suicide. instead of having the shame of your opponent killing you, you take your own life. but you still lose.

When you lose a match you can do a hari kiri so that your opponent can't do a fatality on you, it follows the basic idea of the real life samurai hari kiri, you kill yourself to redeem your honour of losing, otherwise I'm pretty sure you can't do it.
EDIT: the way it was pronounced on the game when baraka did his sounded like Hari Kiri so I'll be using this spelling.

no, when you get your ass kicked and are about to be finished off, you can punch in a button combo and kill yourself to keep your honor and not let your opponant have satisfaction.
