I wouldn't say Noob is one of the "definitive" characters of MK, but because he has become so massively popular over the last three years, he'll probably make it in. The only choice from your roster I don't get is Mileena. I think Kitana is much more Iconic, and more relevant to the story.

Shang Tsung is kind of on the border as well now that I think about it. He's definitely an important part of the series, but if I had to put a face on MK's dark side, I would give the point to Kahn, or even Quan Chi. Shang Tsung rarely acted autonomously in the series prior to MKDA. Not definitive evil, IMO. Just kinda greedy.

I hope so. I'd rather they develop 10 kickass MK and 10 Kickass DC characters over 64 characters that are all the same.

I honestly can't consider Reptile a "viallian" either because he's been somebody's bitch most of the time. Just look at him in Deadly Alliance

I'd put my vote on Baraka, since he has that "I'm so MKII" vibe and he well represents the Tarka... Tarketa... Tarki... well, whatever they're called. Kano was there in the beginning, but other than that, I don't think he has an overwhelming fanbase, nor did he contribute much later that I know of.
