I’m very happy with the recent updates, although I know I shouldn’t get too exited. Maybe we are all mistaken the new info we have seen. Here is the famous picture:

Notice the words: “Movies” and “Kitana’s Trading Card”. These characters might not be playable at all, maybe they are just bio vids for MK7, no more no less.
In any case, if all these info is accurate and Sonya Blade has indeed returned, then I have to say I’m very happy and pleased the team decided to make the original female of the game return for kombat once again!
After all, its not Mortal Kombat without the main originals. grin
Boon said returning characters were going to receive all their classic moves back, I hope this applies to Sonya Blade as well. I would love to see:
-Her Leg Grab
-Her Ring Toss
-Her Vertical Bicycle Kicks
-Her Cartwheel kicks
-Her Wave Punch
-Her Leg-Air throw

An officer of the Special Forces in Earthrealm, Sonya Blade came to Outworld at Raidens request to kombat the Deadly Alliance and to locate and rescue two of her missing agents.
Though she never found them, she took part in the assault on Shang Tsungs Palace.

I really hope they do have all the moves that Boon was quoted as saying. Although, I am worried they won't since I have yet to see Baraka do his Blade Fury or Blade Spark from MKII. But she would be very lethal with all those moves IMO. Lets keep our finges crossed Queve.

Anyway.. where's that pic from? Never seen it before..

It looks like those trading cards videos are the same as those bio videos from IGN. It was confirmed that the original version of MKD would have 10 bio videos (like in this picture) and the special edition would have 15 additional bio videos 25 in total.
But why would they make bio videos for those characters if they are not in the game?

Me too bro! She might end up bieng a lot more powerful then how she was in MKDA. I hope she has her MKDA styles, moves and that she gets classics back! grin

I've seen the Blade Spark in a video (I can't remember which one, I'm sure it was one of the IGN videos), but no Blade Fury yet. Although I don't imagine they'll take that one out, since Baraka is a defensive character and the Blade Fury was one of the best defensive traps in MK2, Trilogy, and MK Gold.

i think shes in.. and in your post.. also.. it says kitana trading card movie because kitana is highlighted.. anyway.. sounded like you did knew... but if you did.. hey.. its alright...
anyway.. yes i am glade shes in... why not.. she is one of the originals..

I don't know if you are trying to prove that sonya is not in the game or that kitana is in the game because the one you highlighted in red is not the one highlighted on the screen. go up and right, that's kitana. and frankly i don't know if that is sonya or not but what the hell are you talking about. kitana is the one highlighted in yellow and your talking about a completely different square.

I personally am not a huge Sonya fan....BUT, you can't deny FACT. The fact is, she was a very powerful character in MK4 and had great kombos and was an even more powerful character in MK:DA with her kombos and Kali Sticks. It's just as fact, whether we like it or not. And when something is fact, you have to acknowledge it. So that's what I am doing. If she has all her moves from previous games, then she will be very lethal...FACT.
