10 Returning Classic Characters (We know 7)
6 Returning Fighters from MKDA (We Know 3... one is Kenshi)
8 New Characters (We Know Ashra(h) & Hotaru)

And, of course, non-playable characters (Sub-boss (Reptile?) & Dragon King) and secret characters (Returning Fighters from MKDA o New Fighters I think)

Sounds like it. But there is some confussion on whether certain characters fall into the returning MKDA column or the Classic Character Column (Sonya, Kano, Kung Lao etc.) So we really don't know who that means is out or in.

i think this is bullshit, i want smoke back so badly, and i no alot of other people do to.I'm dying to see him in 3d, he hasnt been in a game since MK3, and now that i see all these MK3 players returning my hopes for smoke returning are increasing.

I concur-- we really dont know for certain until they clear this up or release more news on characters for us to figure this out for ourselves.

We know exactly what it means. If they meant to say that there would be six of the new characters of MKDA returning, they would have said just that. So far we got three.

Not true-- they may have meant that and not aware that they werent being clear.
