I see MK crossing over with Marvel if anything.

Finally, someone actually says something about all these lame "What ifs" threads about charcters that are not DC, but yet again, made from the same guy in a way.

Please, it's strictly DC, I know it's a "What if" thread, but still, I am not trying to put you all down, but it's pretty lame to create a thread that we all know the answer to. And that answer would be against the topic of this thread.

If I hear someone say MK vs. Marvel would have been better or MK vs. DBZ I will seriously punch a hole thru my door lol....

On this topic, the only crossover characters you'll get are DC's JL characters....

I'm not saying it's better. It's just more likely if MK does do another crossover that it would be with Marvel instead of darkhorse. I however don't want anymore crossovers.

Not really... even though I'm trying to force myself to not write this... if this game goes successfully, if there shall somehow be another crossover sequel, they could do DC again... that is if it goes very, very well.

i'm just saying, DC had done cross overs with other comic books such as darkhorse, so it wouldn't be too hard to have a 3rd party character, or would it be considered 4th party, i dunno.

i know for a fact it won't be in this game, but if all goes well, there's a definite maybe.

All I know about Darkhorse is they publish the English translations to the Vampire Hunter D novels. Not kiddy comics, I mean actual novels (or novellas at least). So yeah I'd love to his beautiful face square off against scorpion, etc.

Dark Horse don't own them, so they're just third-party characters from different companies. A variety of different companies that will never congregate for a video game, let alone a Mortal Kombat crossover.

There's no maybe. DC crossovers with Aliens or Predator
Aliens, Predator, Hellboy, Darth Maul, Marv, and Yusaji Yojimbo are not meeting Scorpion in the same sitting.
DC haven't had to combine multiple licenses for comic crossovers. Dark Horse have/had a license to publish comics with third-party film properties, and DC agreed to let them whore out some of their characters as well. It's a big incidental melting pot, as opposed to a contrived event likely to be replicated with unrelated properties in other mediums.

I'd prefer MK vs. DC honestly instead of Darkhorse or Marvel, not saying they're bad it's just Darkhorse IMO isn't as good as DC and Marvel already had crossovers with SF.

That plus DC hasn't had a fighting game well known since the SNES/Sega days..

yeah, dc isn't really all that bad, and they do need some fighting video game exposure.

Really? I would've liked to see them put together a game in a genre with a more linear narrative before branching back out into niche markets that aren't particularly relevant anymore (re: Justice League Task Force).

When you're getting Oscar-buzz and mainstream news coverage for your one movie a year, and comics projects, I think you're doing okay!

Errr.....I'm referring to DC's life in the "vid game universe" in which DC is comotose and in bigtime need of getting some exposure, especially with Marvel games clouding every DC game that comes out. Although, Marvel Nemesis sucked ass....but UA was pretty good.
