Unintentionally funny and sad at the same time.

Deception may have sold faster at first, but it didn't move as many units as Deadly Alliance overall.

I think a lot of that was due to Deception bringing the teleports and invisibilities back, making the game less about the combos and more about the cheapness of certain characters.

*cough* ...Not to mention the C and D-list reject-filled roster, preventing people from finding a favorite and sticking with him/her while also preventing DA's newly found audience from getting a feel for the series' characters, thus alienating the new fans and turning them off from the series... *cough* A complete overhaul of the roster turns off fans. Look at how peeved gamers were when Daunte wasn't the main hero in DMC4, or at their rage that Solid Snake was only a minor character in MGS2. Heck, I knew people who quit Tekken when Jun (is that the correct spelling) was killed off. That's why I "can't wait" for the MK "restart," as the series will likely die with the old guard characters.

By the way, the "not being able to wait" thing? Sarcasm.

Deception's the game that made me look closer at MK games before buying. I'm sure glad I didn't blindly throw money at MK vs. DC. I would've been ticked.
