I think that Mk:SM is going to be basicly a 3d Mk2....... Which is Great!! I loved Mk2 so much it was my fav 2d mk game and it had the best music out of every single Mk game. To me, Mk2 was what Mortal Kombat was all about. I hope that every char from Mk2 returns with their classic costumes. As simple as they were, i just love em and with the new texture features with the next gen systems, it would look so cool. I really hope to see Kitana and Mileena with all their classic move (Kitanas fan lift, not the corny 1 from Mk:Da eaither, and I wasnt very happy with Mileenas Sai throw in Mk:D) Also i would love to see Jade, and with a gold staff, like how in Mk2 she had gold fans. What do u guys think??

A 3D adventure game version of MK2. It's basically going to tell the story of MK2 how it really happened.

MK 2 was THE BEST game of the whole series!!!
It has to come back (in 3D)!!!

Well, we have seen a 3D Deadpool and a couple of 3D Living Forests, I hope to see a 3D Wasteland, Armory, Pit II, and oh yeah, a 3D Kahn's Arena. With this, I think the game will rock. I also hope the original music is in, with a little mix up (remix); it'd be cool to hear classic tunes, but also change them up a bit. I thought it was a little damned disappointing to hear the Living Forest music (MKD) without any of the trees roaring; it didn't feel right.
Another thing I'd like to have back is the old yelling and screams from MK II. Again, it'd be cool to have them back, but a tad differently.

Yeah, but is it only going to tell us the story from Liu Kang's and Kung Lao's point of view? I mean I'd like to see what happened to everyone else too. Like Cage, Jax, and every other person that we don't see in the screen shots.

They will be secret characters most likely. Sub-Zero is the only known one at the time. you have to defeat Ermac to get him. Of course, you gotta find Ermac first. I have seen pictures of Smoke, he has the MKD Alternate Costume. Hes most likely secret, since he was secret in MK2.

MK2 is my third favorite MK(I like MK:D and DA better)and my first favorite 2-D MK. This is gonna be one of the best ones too. I can't wait.. too bad I do have to.. for a damn year. ;_; But s'all good. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, especially if we can play as ninjas! At first, I thought this game'd be kinda dumb, considering I hated Lui Kang until he became a zombie and hated Kung Lao. But since I heard we can play as ninjas eventually, I'm liek yay.

I guess MKSM is just MK2's Konquest done in 3D. They didn't get to do this then so they're doing it now. I just wonder why MK1 was the one to be done though. but then, MK2 was where everything got better.
I can't wait to see all the characters in this. Even those that weren't playable. It'll be cool competing against and finding them.

It would be great if they could do something like this with all the MK games. I hope they include a lot of other characters, and maybe explain a few more things, and introduce a few filler characters.
