A clear ending
I got this off of a website...
John Vogel, Storyline & Animation - In Deadly Alliance there was a back story about an ancient Dragon King of Outworld and his undefeatable army. In MK Deception weve built upon that myth. The Dragon King has somehow returned from the dead and the characters of MK Deception must deal with him in classic MK style (by joining him or opposing him). Our opening FMV sequence will start right at the climax of the Deadly Alliance storyline and follow through to create the beginning of the new storyline. The fans will find out what really happened to the heroes and villains of the last game. I feel the storyline for Deadly Alliance deviates quite a bit from previous MK conclusions in that there is an ending with a clear winner, but a new threat presents itself almost immediately as we go into MK Deception. (There is no ...and we all went home to wait for the next dilemma situation.) Deadly Alliance and Deception act very much like a two-part story, even though that was not the plan initially.
It states there will be a " clear " winner... so does that mean after all of the endings are done dispite who dies in whos ending... there will be a clear winner?
In other words lets say Tanya dies in Jades ending and Jade dies in hers... now after u unlock everyone else's ending does that mean you'll actually sees who dies ??

About Me
Props to MINION0
I think that says the "clear winner" is for DA not deception.

Since MK2 the beginings of the game have been 100% up to the MK team. Thus anything can happen. They take parts from what if endings and at times just make up an entire new outcome that wasn't in the MK games endings. The opening FMV for Deception will be a "anything can happen" opening. The clear winner can be anyone. Who ever the winner is doesn't mean that the character's ending 100% happened to every detail from the previewous character's ending from the past game.

Things don't look real good for the Deadly Alliance, even though I'd prefer to see them not playable as they're sitting back chilling with the DK, it's likely Raiden fried them and Bo' Rai Cho battered them.

That's the common recipe, but since Deadly Alliance and Deception are one linked saga, I guess it could be argued it's not over until it's over, so evil could win without "winning" so to speak.
I think it's liekly to be Kung Lao killing the Deadly Alliance, and then the DK killing KL, or Dragon King interferes giving evil the win.

I read somewhere that Kitana and Kung Lao where the winners of DA..... but If there is 1 winner.. I would have to go with Kung Lao... and then he get's Poopoo plattered by the DK....and I bet most of the endings never happened...

I agree. I think the Dragon King will be defeated in MK6, and Shao Kahn will take his soul, and become an updated version of himself for MK7's lead role.
I usually post them in threes, vut I'll add Kenshi and Li Mei into the Story Thread now.

Well Kung Lao is rumoured to be the one that defeated Shang Tsung, and Kitana was posted around the place as the person who killed Quan Chi. I think her ending pointed to that conclusion.
With the absence of Kung Lao and Kitana from Deception's playlist, one has to wonder.

If the bad guys where to win after the good guys won a tournament match it wouldnt be over, isnt it you have to win 10 Mortal Kombat's in arrow to do whatever take over the realm

yeah that is how the game used to werk. they kinda ran away from the whole tournament idea i think. all the games since 3 havent felt like tournaments, it felt like i was just walking around trying to get to the boss so i could wup his ass for whatever reason. i like this better though, as nightwolf said in mk anhilation" the tournaments had rules, but this time anything goes" it makes the fights better that they are kinda spontaneous rather than just oh you made it to the 3rd round of the tourney where you will be beaten to death by this large Horse/man. i'd rather see how both kombatants wound up to be inside an active volcano before they fought.
