A Fatality results in the character being non-selectable

I think it would make for more interesting gameplay. Think about it. Everyone has that one special character that they can seriously beat down oppenents with. It be cool that if the other person won, and performed a fatality on you, you wouldn't be able to use that character again, unless you reset the character list, which takes Koins to do.
It also be intersting for when your going solo, trying to beat the game with your favourite character. You might not dive in it with your favourite character, because you might hit a death trap, or lose and take a fatality.
It make the game a little more strategic.
Maybe the reset Koins can only be collected during Konquest, and you could also wager bets with them online.

Its an interesting idea, but I think they should make it a game mode and take out the koins when you reset the select screen. I wouldnt wanna waste my money resurrecting characters over and over again.

It wouldn't neccesarily be over and over, only when a fatality happens. If you play the cpu on DA they rarley do fatalities.

LOL ! This idea struck me as funny. Don't get me wrong , I love it. Imagine how this could work on Vs. mode. You could perform a Fatality on your friend's favorite character so he couldn't use him again (or w/o a sacrifice).

Very cool idea! I thought it was always pointless collecting koins once everything's been unlocked. This would give one reason to keep the income flowing. It would also force players to become proficient in all the characters, not just one or two. Good point too about how "revive" koins can only be collected in Konquest. I had that thought all along, that certain koins that unlock certain features are collected in a specific way (ex. "fatality bonus" or one for flawless victories).

actually its a pretty good idea. It wouldn't be a bad thing as an option. And I don't think you should go around saying something is stupid without having a credible argument defending ur point. Don't call someone a noob when you yourself have only been here 4 visits! He has more than you

It's a good idea but I am not sure how it could be best implemented.
Perhaps in Versus-mode only online? Therefore if you are beaten by someone and they kill you before you can commit suicide you can not use that character again for a fixed period or until you unlock them yourself again on story-mode by winning on hard with that character?
I dunno, just tossing extensions of your idea around.

Nah i dont really like this idea, although it would keep the demand for earning coins, i wouldent want to spend my money on bringing back charactes.

I think it is an interesting idea for sure. But as a special mode not as the default for Vs.
The idea has potential, if implemented in a different way. In my opinion this would be a very cool type of versus mode. You can choose from classic versus mode or this mode. The loser is the first person to have no one left to be selectable. This, for once, gives the advantage to the player who is better with more players, rather than better with just one player. This would definitly be fun with the online play. Not shabby.

I think you're the noob here. I play (and win) the game on max difficulty and the comp doesn't always do fatalities...
BTW I love the idea, in fact I had thought of a similar idea before but the reviving with koins is a cool twist.

I like the idea too. I thought it was a bad one when I saw the thread title, but seeing the full idea, I kind of like it. It would be a very cool twist!
