A few ideas for Boon & Co. on how to improve Scorpions MK:D look.
He looked amazing in MK:DA. So far, he looks very good in MK:D. However, please don't change things just for the sake of changing them. If something looked perfect in MK:DA, then just don't mess with it.
For example, Scorps more armored look is great (an upgrade if you will), but then keep the thigh armor he had in MK:DA with the skulls. Right now he looks a little too top heavy. Also, his shin guards, footwear, and ankle spikes looked perfect in MK:DA. I also liked the loincloth flap in the front (and back I believe) that came down from scorps belt in MK:DA (much like the other Ninja esque warriors have in MK:D). If it looks totally bad@ss, why bend over backward to change it? Changing the features that could use an improvement I understand, but not the bread and butter. Sometimes you can ruin a good thing.
I'm well aware that some Scorp nuts would think "OMG WTF OWNEGE!!!" if Boon eventually put him in a pink tu-tu. But, I never let my liking or disliking of a character sway honest objective design decisions. I also don't have to delude myself into thinking something is "perfect" when I have little faith that it will be changed. I have see many fans doing this with many areas of MK over the years.
Scorp looks good, but in my opinion he could look better by not fixing the parts that looked perfect in MK:DA.
A pet peeve of mine is seeing people change things just for the sake of changing them, or even worse, as part of a gimmick. When the result could have been better if only certain things were changed while others were kept, it all seems a little idiotic.
What are your thoughts folks?

Scorpion looks fine to me. Awesome actually.

I think Scorpion looks better. It would be crappy if they kept using the same costume over and over.

I wouldn't mind if they still had the costume from MK1.
Rehashing costumes doesn't bother me, but the new costumes are cool.
It's a nice extra.
I think they should just leave him how he looks now for MKD.
I think it's a little late to start changing stuff like that.

Overall I really like his new look. I just think that it's slightly incomplete making him look a little off kilter. He needs shin pad armor or thigh pad armor (MK:DA style) to balance out his armored uperbody in my opinion.
Finally, he needs another spike bracelet on his other arm, or somewhere, in order to balance them out as well. Just having one makes him look like an 80's teen, hehe.

New looks are better. I like Scorpions new look in MKD. In every single MK game Scorpion changes his look. Look at the history.
MK1- A very low-dudget costume. A yellow cloth Ninja suit with a yellow cloth mask covering the face.
MK2- In this game him and Sub-Zero had actual costumes. They were the same costumes but they looked better. Thier masks looked more futuristic.
UMK3- Like all the the other Ninjas Scorpion had the "Blocky Rubber" Ninja shirt, anf the yellow and black pants. His mask was very this that way you can see his skull.
MK4- Scorpion's costume was basically like the one from UMK3, he just has a thick skull mask and a skull on his belt buckle.
MKDA- I don't need to explain, you hasically know.
MKD- All new armor costume, the returning baggy pants, the Squall style belts, new metal shin guards, completly different mask which is black by the mouth and yellow everywhere else on the mask.
Every MK character will look different in the future MK games
