Zombie Liu Kang is ok. Non-Zombie Liu is the main hero. A Zombie Hero is eh. The only zombie i like is Solomon Grundy.

Reptile is Iconic no doubt. Noob "In storylines" Is the original sub-zero and he's another "dark & mysterious" ninja like Scorpion.

Nightwolf is another great character. But imo he isn't really Iconic.

1 liu kang undead style is pretty cool. i like it.

2 have them both. they're both cool for different reasons.

3 i hope nightwing would be chosen over robin, but too much abtman stuff in this game is probably not gonna happen. i think they'll use other dc characters for balance.

I like Noob Saibot, but yeah. It's all a bit redundant (and unnecessarily convoluted) after Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and the rest of the gang.

1. He was cool for Deception, but one game is enough. Liu should have come back as human or not at all.

2. Because Noob actually has potential for a story due to being Sub's brother.

3. Honestly if they're going with the original costumes then please pick Nightwing, at least his costume isn't that bad.

Liu Kang should've stayed gone. Completely. Making him into a zombie is dragging out the mediorce story of a character that was never that good to begin with. I've no use for Liu Kang in any way, shape, or form. Zombified Liu Kang is lingering reminder that this jackass just won't go away...even in death!



I like Noob Saibot and I suppose one could argue that he's somewhat iconic in a way...but I agree that Reptile surpasses him. The only reason I could see them including Noob over Reptile is if they really want to involve the Sub-Zero/brother storyline in this game...which I very much doubt and believe would be ill-advised.



Not sure. I think they should keep the sidekick-type characters to a minimum and focus the cast on the primary big guns.

I'll tell you why...

Liu Kang as a zombie was just a horrible way to bring him back to the MK games after Deadly Alliance, if they killed him, they should have brought him back like they do with ALL of the MK characters that have been killed in the past. Though, if they were going to make him as a zombie, they should have done a better job in having him come out, and what I mean by that, there should have been a better storyline for him in Deception. I'm surprised that they didn't go with Quan Chi's ending from DA and make Liu as Kano. That would have been a miserable twist.

I never read anywhere about how Noob will make it in before Reptile. Reptile came first, (just like the chicken came before the egg) and that Reptile has been in more games that Noob. Reptile is also the second character to have the most wardrobe changes (the other is Sub-Zero) and that even though Noob is a very cool character, the chances for Reptile to return if Midway said they were going back to the roots is more likely to be in the game because he was original, unlike Noob. Even though Noob is actually Sub-Zero and Sub-Zero is really his younger brother, there's just too much going on with that character, blah, blah, la dee da.

Nightwing? Isn't he more Teen Titan-ish rather than Justice League? I never really gotten into his character rather than all the other DC characters, even though I mostly associate with Marvel more than DC, but yet... seeing how Nightwing was once Superman... I doubt that he will make an appearance in the game, seeing how I see Nightwing more as a Teen Titan than Justice League and that DC characters will mostly be putting in Justice League than Teen Titans... though if they had to pick one character from TT, it should be between Raven or Deathstroke...
