I have been a fan of MK since the MK 1 arcade days, while others were still wrapped up in Street Fighter II Turbo Championship Tournament Super Ultra Special Rainbow Edition .. I wanted nothing but MK all the time.

I spent 4-6 hours a day on the weekends watching and waiting for something new to be discovered. I loved walking in to the aracade when I first found out Mortal Kombat II was there, I was in awe when I saw the select screen for the first time, wondering who was who and all that.

I guess what I am getting to is are they showing us too much? I know they are trying to market the game, and when something new is posted I rush to see it just like everyone else. I am just afraid that when I purchase the game I am going to be disappointed. I know the game will be amazing and hompefully there will be plenty that we do not know about. Is there anyone out there that can make me feel better about this, or should I just do my best to resist looking at this site and others like it?

I know just what you are talking about. I feel the same way that I'm going to be dissapointed when it comes out because I can't resist the new info. t hat comes out. But I'm moss def. sure that they won't tell us everything they probably have alot in store for us to find out so don't worry your not alone wink

Ahhh those were the good ol' days playing MK1 in the arcades waiting for 2 to come out. I still played Street Fighter though.
But basically if you don't want to have all the info. and know everything about the game then stay off all MK sites that is the smart thing to do but i just can't resist....

I think that this site (at least the MKD section) is only for people who want to be spoiled. If you don't want to be, it doesn't make much sense to go where all the information is. tongue

I know what you mean...... I rush to see everything new and even though I'm pretty happy when something comes out.. I just HOPE I won't be deceived (no pun intended wink)

Well... let's say the truth. With the years MK has lost a lot of it's mystique. When DA came out, I did no look at ANY news about it.. I just went and bought it. I have to say it was the biggest dissaointment for me in MK history! I hated most of the new characaters, new fatals, etc etc. Thhis time, I'm actually getting psyched over characters I would have HATED if the game just came out and I bough it.

For example, I would have seen Jujinko and I would hae said, a clone of the virtua fighter drunk, but now, I actually see him a different way.
I also gagged when I saw Kenshi for the firs time, but now, with all the psycke abd bla bla bla he grew on me.
